This trek aims to introduce and rediscover the path that for centuries has connected our territories with Collelongo and Villavallelonga. The route, in addition to being used for summer transhumance, was the route for the exchange of goods between our community and Vallelonga: the respective populations arrived at the guardhouse pass, which was the halfway point where the exchange of goods took place (figs, grapes, oil in exchange for wood, cereals, potatoes). Beyond its economic significance, the path also had a very important social function; in fact, through it the populations got to know each other, love and friendships were born... in short, the mountain was alive and united. Path (E) starts from San Vincenzo Valle Roveto Vecchio (565 m) and passes through an area of ​​notable historical, landscape, and environmental interest, reaching the height of the La Fossa refuge (1000 m). The total length is 8 km and the travel time is 4 hours there and back.
