The trail begins at the Rendinara fountain, just beyond the square. It begins on a dirt road, and after passing the Fracassi refuge, it crosses a vast meadow where horses usually graze. Leaving the meadow behind and entering the woods, next to a riverbed, we discover raspberries... The slope begins to steepen, and, leaving the beech trees behind, the sky takes over: only now is it possible to admire the summit. To reach it, you have to cross for about an hour a rare and beautiful gravel path where the lutea gentian grows. The final climb offers a fascinating view of the slope where the Veroli meadows extend; in fact, we approach the summit from behind so as not to tackle it head-on. Once at the top of Mount Pizzo Deta, the Roveto Valley opens up before us in all its charm, almost making us prostrate ourselves, or at least that's the illusion we lose ourselves in before such beauty.
