12th EDITION OF THE OLIVE OIL TREKKING IN SAN VINCENZO VALLE ROVETO

The walk along the Olive Oil Roads returns, featuring olive harvesting in the fields and tastings of fresh olive oil and traditional products at the mills. The event will take place on Sunday, November 2, 2025, starting in San Vincenzo Valle Roveto, in Piazza della Vittoria. Meeting and registration are at 8:00 a.m., with departure at 8:30 a.m.

The 16.5 km walk, of medium difficulty, is part of the annual program of the "Valle Roveto," "Avezzano," and "Vallelonga" CAI sections. It offers splendid panoramic views and the opportunity to admire a valuable vegetation, geological, and cultural heritage. The most characteristic stops are: the historic center of Morrea, the Hermitage of the Madonna del Romitorio, the authentic village of San Vincenzo Vecchio, the Church of San Diodato in San Giovanni Vecchio, and a visit to the olive oil mills, which have been in full operation for days now.
